We made these encouraging cards last week at The Social Calligraphy Creative.
They will be given to women in recovery. The organizer of The Social Calligraphy Creative, who volunteers at a Vancouver centre helping women, says that these small notes of encouragment mean a great deal to many there.
They are each invited to choose one and take it home to pin up where they can read the encouragement each day.
The Collective meets once a month to practice lettering, socialize, and do calligraphy for social change.
